COC Karnataka Meeting Minutes
Respected Comrades,
The meeting of COC, Karnataka was held today, the 20-07-2017 in the Association room at Accountant General's office. The Working president Com. Prasad presided over the meeting.
He reminded and appreciated the comrades of AGs office for their valuable contribution towards the COC Karnataka. Other affiliates viz., Postal, Income Tax, Survey of India, AICGWBEA, Postal Accounts , CGHS & RMS for participating in Human Chain Program on 22-06-2017 and making it a success.
The following points were appraised to the Executive Committee by Com.Prasad:
1.With reference to TPA, he informed that there is a big loss for level 1 & 2 and that COC Karnataka immediately put forth this issue to Confederation Leaders and accordingly our Confederation took up this issue with Staff side JCM Secretary who inturn has written a letter to the Ministry. Of Finance and there is a possibility of amending this issue. As per the directions of the Confederation a Protest Day will be organised on 25-07-2017 @ Income tax office between 1 pm to 2 pm. against the denial of HRA Arrears from the date of implementation of 7th CPC w.e.f. 01-01-2016, reduction in allowances & discontinuation of certain allowances which is a grave injustice meted out to all CG employees. Also on the revision of fitment formula and minimum wage.
The District units are requested to participate in similar programs at their respective places.
2. There was also a discussion regarding preparation for National Secretariat meeting to be held on 9th August 2017 at 4th floor, ITEF from 10.30 am. The meeting hall is fixed and all affiliates of COC Karnataka are requested to receive their leadership.
3. All the affiliates were requested to sponsor liberally for All India Postal Conference to be held at Freedom Park Bengaluru from 6th, 7th& 8th August 2017.
4. It was decided to write a letter to the Addl Director, CGHS and also to Welfare Coordination Committee to implement the order in respect of availing treatment just on production of the Govt Dept ID, which will be helpful on all critical situations.
5.Com.Gen Secy Com Vinod appealed to all the affiliates to assemble in large numbers for the Protest Day.
6.He thanked the Ex founder Com.Joseph of AGs off, who was the founder of Confederation.
He thanked the Office bearers of the AGs off for their immediate readiness for today's meeting.
Meeting got concluded by 8.45 pm.

A analysis of comparison of the transport allowances of 6th CPC and 7th CPC .
Comrade,
With reference to the 6th CPC orders issued vide letter number 21(2)/2008-E.II (B) dated 28th August 2008 and7th CPC orders issued vide letter number No 21/5/2017-E(B) dated: 7th July 2017 issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Department of Expenditure. A analysis of comparison of the transport allowances of 6th CPC and 7th CPC was made, it is found that the Employees those who were in 1800 GP and 1900 GP as per 6th CPC and pay in the pay band equivalent to Rs.7440 and above are losing considerable amount on switching over to 7th CPC transport allowances , Hence the issue is being taken up by the Confederation
