SMS Messages
We are sending SMS messages through internet The SMS messages sent by COC are through Way2sms or fullonsms.com, Now it shows as TD 644111 or TD 677800 to receive messages do not use DNB ( Do not Disturb me) option, If used the messages sent by COC will not be delivered to your mobile .
Some comrades are blocking the mesages through DNB (Donot distrurb) hence we are unable to send the messages for these people who are having DNB facility in SMS mobile
Now please send SMS to your operator as
so that the COC SMS messages can be viewed by you
For registering option using SMS, for 'fully blocked category', write "START 0" and send it to 1909. For 'partially blocked category', send SMS 'START' with one or multiple options from the list of seven categories.
There are at present 7 preferences to choose from- Banking/Insurance/Financial Products/Credit Cards-1, Real Estate-2, Education-3, Health-4, Consumer goods and automobiles-5, Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT, Tourism-7.
For example: To receive messages relating to only Health products, then send SMS"START 4" to 1909. Similarly, for receiving messages relating to Real Estate and Education, send SMS "START 2,3" to 1909.
On successful registration, customer will receive an SMS confirming exercised options and a Unique Registration Number within 24 hrs. The registration will be effective within 7 days of placing the request with the service provider. The customers can check the status of their registration by clicking on
DA Orders Expected on 3/10/2011
The 58 % DA orders is likely to be issued on 3/10/2011 or 4/10/2011, According to sources in Finance Ministry.

Dharna program on PFRDA
On 28th September, 2011 a massive Dharna programme shall be organised in all district and divisional offices. a minimum number of 25 comrades will sit in Dharna. COC Meeting Minutes
Dear Comrades,
Minutes of COC meeting held on 15th September 2011 at 6.30 pm at ITEF queens road Bangalore
The Meeting of COC was presided over by Com C.G.Prabhu Vice President COC The following agenda points were taken place.
Agenda:
1) NE meeting of Confederation to be held at Bangalore on 22nd October
2) State level Convention of COC on 22nd Oct 2011.
3) Trade Union demands
4) Signature campaign on PFRDA a review.
5) March to Parliament on 25th November 2011
It was decided to hold NE meeting of Confederation to be held at Bangalore at 11 am on 22nd October 2011 at Income tax office premises queens road near GPO Bangalore , & State Level Convention of COC at 2.30 pm on 22nd Oct 2011. The banners , Posters and Flags etc will be prepared in next week. It was also decided to provide working lunch of National Executive Members and Snacks for delegates attending convention.
All affiliates are requested to contact their leadership to obtain their tour program and reserve accommodation accordingly also take care of their respective leaders .
All affiliates are requested to mobilize delegates for State Level Convention of COC especially from Districts.
It was decided to participate in Trade Union rally in November 2011.
All Affiliates are requested to obtain signatures on PFRDA, each employee should obtain a minimum of 10 signatures in each form.
It was decided to send a delegation for March to Parliament on 25th November 2011 all affiliates are requested to allot members as per the allocation from their CHQ.
All affiliates are requested to remit COC quota of 2011-12 to meet the expenditure of the Conventions by next meeting .

Trade Unions Demands
Five point demands formulated jointly by the Central Trade Unions and Federations for 1) concrete measures to contain price rise 2) concrete measures for linkage of employment protection with the concession/incentive package offered to the entrepreneurs, 3) Strict enforcement of all basic labour laws without any exception or exemption and stringent punitive measures for violation of labour laws, 4) universal social security cover tor the unorganized sector workers without any restriction and creation of a NCEUS and Parliamentary Standing Committee on Labour and 5) Stoppage of disinvestment in central and state PSUs, the National Convention of Workers also demands immediate action by the Govt of India to ensure:-
No Contractorisation of work of permanent/perennial nature and till then payment of wages and benefits to the contract workers at the same rate as available to the regular workers of the industry/establishment
Minimum Wages Act to ensure universal coverage irrespective of the schedules and fixation of statutory minimum wage at not less than Rs.10,000/- per month with indexation
Remove all ceilings on payment and eligibility of Bonus, Provident Fund; Increase the quantum of gratuity. Assured Pension for all To pres the above demands and to prepare for higher level of united action, the National Convention decides to hold Countrywide multiple forms of action such as SATYAGRAH/JAIL BHARO, MASS SQUATTING etc. in all the state capitals and industrial centres on 8thNOVEMBER 2011.
