minutes of COC meeting held on 7th November 2013 held at ITEF Bangalore.
The
meeting presided over by Com
R.Seethalakshmi Vice President COC Karnataka.
Com
R.Seethalakshmi Vice President COC Karnataka welcomed the members for the
meeting.
Com P.S.Prasad General Secretary COC Karnataka
welcomed the members for the meeting. He informed the members that Governement has announced the formation of the 7th CPC. This is because of the joint struggle of the Central Government employees under the banner of the confederation.
The DOPT had invited the leaders of the staff side for discussion on the 7th CPC draft terms of reference. The staff side has demanded DA merger and date of effect w.e.f 1/1/2014. The Inclusion of the GDS employees in the 7th CPC.
He has informed till the demands of the CG employees are settled the confederation will wage a series of programs.
He also explained that the memorandum to the 7th CPC will be prepared by the staff side and the same should be approved by the state level conference.
The following
decisions were taken in COC meeting :
An state level seminar on the common demands of the CG Employees shall be held at Kendriya Sadhan Kormangala Bangalore around 18th December 2013 which shall be attended by the Central leaders. A fee of Rs 150. will be charged for the seminar to meet the expenses.
An
appeal has been made to all affiliates of COC Karnataka to contribute at the
rate of Rs 5 per member as subscription for the year 2013-14.
To
participate in trade union classes at Mumbai to be held on 15th
November as per Confederation CHQ
directions .
To
participate in women’s convention to be held at New Delhi on November 25 & 26.
COC
meeting also discussed the holiday issue.
Com R.Seethalakshmi Vice President COC Karnataka proposed vote of thanks and made an appeal to all to participate in seminar.
