Minutes of COC Karnataka Meeting

The first meeting of the newly elected Executive body of COC Karnataka was held on 14-06-2017.

 Com.Vinod, Gen.Secy, welcomed  all the affiliates. 

Com.Radhakrishna,  President, presided over the meeting.     

Following points were discussed:               

1.Human Chain Program to be held on 22-06-2017  as a mark of protest against the retrograde recommendations of the 7th CPC and betrayal of the promises made by the Group of Ministers reg revision of Min Wage, Fitment Formula & higher Allowances. As per the Confederation's call, the issue was deliberated during the meeting and decided to carry out this human chain programme within the radius, from GPO towards KSCA Stadium between 1pm to 2 pm.All are requested to assemble at GPO by 12.30 pm. to show our strength and
resentment.  

2.It was also decided to hold the National Secretariat Meeting of the Confederation & Convention at Bengaluru on 09-08-2017 at ITEF.



3. Com.Vinod, thanked the yeomen services rendered by Com.P.S.Prasad, Ex-Gen Secy & all the members of the earlier Exe Committee of COC Karnataka. 

He briefed about the NPS Convention held at Delhi on 10-06-2017. 

 4.Com.S. Radhakrishna, President narrated in detail about the merits & demerits of NPS & Pension related issues.

5.It was decided to issue letters to all affiliates calling for total Circle-wise membership.  

6.It was also decided to nominate Com Vinod General Secretary and Com Sachin Mallad Finance Secretary to jointly operate the COC Karnataka accounts held at AG''s cooperative Bank. The financial position was reviewed and estimated that an amount of Rs one lakh is required as expenditure for organising three meetings / convention ie National Secretariat meeting, State level JCA of NPS and National women's conference.  Hence, an earnest appeal  is being made from all the affiliates for
more liberal contribution.
